An important part of the story of our spiritual journey is the moment of "conversion". Conversion is way of seeing things in a new way, of going beyond the limitations of our past, of being transformed and in a way "being born again". As we encounter the transforming love of God in our retreat, we will look at the important dimensions of "reconciliation" that are part of that conversion reality: reconciled to God, reconciled with others, reconciled with creation. To help us deepen our contemplation of our personal conversion and reconciliation, we will reflect on the life journey of St. Ignatius of Loyola. But as part of a much larger story of redemption, our personal conversion leads us to be aware of our call to participate in the renewal of society and creation, and so we will ponder some of Pope Francis' recent teachings.
